Library Media Specialist Michelle Erickson received a 2023 GBAPS Education Foundation grant to bring a book author to present at both Beaumont and Elmore Elementary Schools.
Author Miranda Paul visited Beaumont on Oct. 10 and Elmore on Oct. 12 during the 2023-24 school year.
Paul presented her books and the writing process to the entire school community, and held a writing workshop for 5th graders in both schools.
Her visit helped students engage in the writing process and learn that mistakes are a part of the process.
